Pastor Sue leading a Livingston Sunday church service

Pastor Sue leads our congregation in a weekly worship service each Sunday morning.

Sunday  Church Services

What is it like to worship with us?

We gather at 11 am in the sanctuary September through June (10 am in Fellowship Hall during July and August) to worship together. We sing (hymns, praise and worship songs), read scripture together, pray silently and are led in prayer, hear a sermon and engage in various kinds of responses (for example, responsive readings or time to make private commitments to God).

We take communion together on the first Sunday of the month, and from time to time celebrate life’s moments together: baptisms, dedications, celebrating graduations, the “blessing of backpacks” as the school year starts, etc.

Because our congregation includes young and old and in-between, we use many kinds of music to invite everyone into heartfelt worship – which is led by our generous Worship Team of singers and instrumentalists, and our Music Director.

Children are included in worship throughout the first half of the service, and are then invited to Children’s Church (under the direction of our Pastor of Ministries to Children and Families) during the sermon time. Families worship together through the whole service on Communion Sundays.

After worship, we gather in Fellowship Hall for some coffee, refreshments and conversation. This is a special time of the week when everyone catches up with one another while the kids play together.

Our sanctuary is wheelchair-accessible via a ramp at the front doors.
